Crime Stoppers: Jr. Foods Robberies

Bowling Green Police are investigating two recent robberies at convenient stores. On Friday night July 21 at approximately 10:45 pm, authorities say two men entered the Jr. Foods store on Center Street with a handgun demanding cash. The suspects got away with cash and 15 packs of Newport cigarettes. They are described as young black males, 15 to 20 years old, wearing black curly wigs and surgical masks over their faces.

Then just after midnight on Monday July 24, police say two black males entered the Jr. Foods store on Russellville Road and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. These suspects were wearing ski masks over their faces.

Police believe these two crimes could be related.
