The 17-year-old accused of being Indiana's highway sniper entered a not guilty plea.

Zachariah Blanton faces murder, attempted murder, and criminal recklessness charges in the shootings along two interstates, one being Interstate-65.

One man was killed and another wounded in the shootings.

Prosecutors say the teen had argued with relatives over gutting a deer while on a hunting trip.

Meanwhile, Blanton's grandmother has also been charged with obstruction of justice, police say they didn't feel evidence was brought to them in a timely matter and she was hiding the gun.

The county prosecutor says he's looking into whether he can bring a death penalty case.

A judge set December 13 as a tentative trial date.
