Accused Autry Murderers Bound Over to Grand Jury

After hearing testimony at their preliminary hearing today, Warren Circuit Judge Joann Coleman bound the murder case of Lucas Goodrum and Stephen Soules over to the Grand Jury. She also overruled defense motions to reinstate bond for the pair.

During testimony, WKU detective Sergeant Mike Dowell said Soules, and Goodrum's cellmate, Terry Campbell, both said Goodrum had been in Autry's room. But Goodrum's attorney said Brian Moon and Damian Secrest said Goodrum was with them in Bemis-Lawrence Hall around the time Katie Autry was attacked. Both Goodrum and Soules will remain in jail until their next court appearance.
