Franklin Sting Operation Leads to Many Arrests

A South-Central Kentucky Drug Task Force drug sting operation in Franklin leads to several arrests and drug charges.

Thirty-one-year-old Emeritus Carter of Bowling Green, 25-year-old Lloyd Blackman of Hopkinsville, and 20-year-old Amber Mayes of Franklin were all three arrested late Thursday during the investigation.

Offenses in the sting operation range from trafficking in controlled substances, selling and transferring simulated controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, to tampering with physical evidence.

Agents from the task force are expecting more arrests pending further investigations.
