Minit Mart Shooting

Police are asking for your help, as they look for a suspect involved in the early morning shooting death of a Bowling Green man. Tracy Stewart was fatally wounded during a shooting at the Minit Mart on Morgantown Road at approximately 1:50 this morning. He later died at the Medical Center from gunshot wounds to his chest and lower torso.
Police say the shooting occurred after an earlier altercation at the Big Daddy's Bar on Old Morgantown Road. Bowling Green Police Public Information Officer, Barry Pruitt says the police have opened an investigation into the incident.

"One of the victims died at the hospital so we're treating this now as a homicide."

Authorities have obtained warrants for James "Duke" Franklin, of Horse Cave Kentucky, in connection with the shooting. Franklin faces charges of murder and first degree assault.
