Last year's run to the Sweet 16, gave Western Kentucky's mens basketball program some national attention they hadn't received since their last big victory over Kentucky in 2001.

With their 68-54 win over 3rd-ranked Louisville yesterday, all eyes are back on Western, and the victory has students excited.

"The game was awesome how 'bout Western blowing Louisville out the water! Louisville supposed to be the best team aka number one. I'm not really a Louisville fan, but go Tops!"

"Because Louisville is such a rival, and ranked so high, it was a good day to be a Hilltopper."

"I am in the same fraternity as Orlando Mendez-Valdez, and we are very proud of him."
