A man who was injured in an eastern Kentucky house fire that killed two of his daughters has been released from a hospital.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported 56-year-old Virgil Withrow of Bath County was able to leave University of Kentucky Hospital on Wednesday.
Sisters Kayla and Lucy Withrow were killed in the fire Dec. 10 in the rural Olympia community, about 50 miles east of Lexington. Kayla was 13 years old and Lucy was 12.
Virgil Withrow's wife, Maryetta, and their 15-year-old daughter, Danielle, remain in serious condition.
The couple's 11-year-old son, A.J., was released after hospital treatment last week.
