For many students on summer vacation it's a time to travel, go swimming, play sports outside, and for some a time to be creative. Around a dozen students are participating in an art camp on Western's campus.
Kids are learning how to paint with watercolors and acrylics. They are also learning how to sketch. Camp Director Lynne Ferguson says giving children confidence in their artistic abilities is the idea behind the camp.
On Thursday, the last day of camp, the children will take an architectural tour of campus and draw sketches of some of Western's historic buildings.
