Western Kentucky University is preparing to reopen a building that was damaged by a fire in April.
Several teenagers were charged with starting the fire at Cherry Hall.
After months of repairs, a special event will be held Sun., Aug. 27, 2006, at Western to celebrate the building's reopening.
A musical performance, light show, free ice cream, and brief remarks by WKU President Gary Ransdell are planned for the event.
The fire at Cherry Hall caused more than one million dollars in damage.
