Pence signed a "Wall of Hope" banner yesterday in Frankfort.
Pence says he wants to encourage women of all ages to be proactive about their heath.
He says he plans to visit college campuses across the state to distribute brochures and awareness bracelets.
Cervical Cancer kills 3,700 women a year in the U.S.
State Senator, Julie Denton says Kentucky's rate of cervical cancer is 49% higher than the national average.
Kentucky is the first of ten states to launch the campaign.
