LOUISVILLE, KY (AP) -- The mother of one of the teen-agers missing after a duck hunting accident in western Kentucky says search crews are facing unbearable conditions.
The two young hunters disappeared, another teen died and a fourth was barely conscious when he was rescued last weekend after their boat capsized.
Lori Scott says the people searching for her 17-year-old son, Jacob Scott, and his friend, McKenzie Stanley, are dealing with cold, blustery weather at Kentucky Lake in far western Kentucky. She says families have given up on any kind of miracle rescue at this point and just want to recover the bodies.
Officials say searchers are using a sonar device to comb part of the lake in their search for the Graves County teens.
