Despite objections from landowners and preservationists a power line could span four Western Kentucky counties.
The power line would be more than 97 miles long and would link East Kentucky Power Cooperative to Warren Rural Electric. Preservationists say the path would bisect a farm and pass very close to several historic features.
Power company officials say they’ve followed federal requirements for historic and environment surveys.
