Morgantown Catfish Festival Winds Down

The 22nd Annual Green River Catfish Festival drew to a close on Saturday night with the traditional square dancing and trophy presentation for the catfish tournament held earlier in the weekend.

Nine tagged fish were caught, two worth $1,000 each, but no one was lucky enough to snare the $50,000 catfish that was the grand prize of the tournament.

Other events including a kids' day and beauty pageant drew hundreds of local residents in to Morgantown for the holiday weekend.
