Warren County Farmer is 6-Time National ATV Cross-Country Champ

By  |

Bill Ballance has spent his entire life on his family's 750-acre farm outside Oakland. But when he's not on a tractor, he's on his #1 Yamaha ATV, leading the pack on the professional cross-country racing circuit.

Ballance has been racing professionally for nine years, winning six national cross-country championships along the way. He currently holds a 16-point lead over the field, as he zeros in on his seventh national title in nine years.

Ballance is a natural, becoming one with his machine, as he battles through the brutality of the grueling, two-hour endurance races on the cross-country circuit.

However, that's not what you'll be seeing this weekend at Ballance's track. This will be the fast and furious Motocross, with ATV’s flying through the air.

It’s the finale of the pro season, so the best racers in the country will be taking extra chances to secure the championship.

And, just like his days on the farm, Bill Ballance will aim to take his seventh national championship to the house.
