A plant that supplies the automotive industry in Central Kentucky plant is laying off 125 workers.
The Dana Corporation said the layoffs at its Elizabethtown plant will take effect next week. Workers will be given information on unemployment insurance, vocational rehabilitation and health insurance.
Workers at the plant build frames for the F-150, a pickup truck line suffering a sales slump because of high gas prices.
One worker at the plant said he and his co-workers found out about the job cuts Wednesday night Aug. 30, 2006.
After the layoffs, the Elizabethtown plant will employ 752 workers.
