On the news you hear about how bad other counties are. Well Ohio County was hit very hard also. The night the storm hit and trees started falling our Volunteer Fire Departments were out here busting their tales clearing roads and helping people. These people had little sleep and are not paid. I think someone should print an article on these companies. I know that the cromwell fire department has worked around the clock, and everyone needs to say thank you to them.
My daughter lives in Ohio County and is taking an online class at WKU. When she was finally able to get online the professor had posted a note that told students that if they couldn't get on line they "need to withdraw from the class". Is this how WKU supports it's students during this emergency? I think this is disgraceful!!
