The moment a lot of parents and kids have been waiting for is finally here. Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix went on sale at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, and hundreds of expectant fans piled into Bowling Green's Barnes and Noble to welcome in the highly anticipated fifth installment.
Dozens of children dressed up as their favorite characters from the Harry Potter series, waiting and watching until the hour of midnight struck. A minute following, costumed workers rolled out big carts filled with 870-page books.
The book sold out at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, but those who reserved a copy will still be able to purchase it.
If you missed out on getting a copy of the book, Barnes and Noble is taking pre-order reservations for the second shipment.
