As the state continues to sift through substantial cuts to Medicaid, some eligible Kentuckians are left holding their breath anticipating additional cuts to various programs.
One Ohio County man is on a mission to prevent further cuts to Medicaid. Frank Aubrey is scheduled to speak before the Health and Welfare Committee in Frankfort on Wednesday. He plans to cover a range of issues dealing with current and future changes to Medicaid.
This is Aubrey's third Frankfort trip this year. Aubrey also runs the Ohio County Resources for the Disabled and Elderly, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free medical equipment to those in need.
More than 600,000 Kentuckians are currently on Medicaid.
