One local preschool rode their bikes to benefit fellow kids today.
For nearly twenty years Peanut House Preschool has been hosting a Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude Hospital. The children are asked to collect donations which allows the kids to bring their bike to school and ride it for the day. The children understand that they are helping sick children who are unable to ride a bike or play like they get to everyday.
Preschool director, Judy Helm said, “It’s a very special day, because they get to bring their own bikes and helmets and they really enjoy this day.” Since the start of the event the preschool has raised $5,000 for St. Jude.
