Vice President Dick Cheney's wife visited Louisville, Ky., to celebrate National Constitution Day.
Yesterday, Lynne Cheney taught about 150 fifth graders the importance of The Constitution.
Cheney spoke at the University of Louisville's McConnell Center about the history of the document.
The event included colonial artifacts, hands-on activity and people dressed in period costumes.
Mrs. Cheney said The Constitution helped shape our country and the document impacts Americans' every day life.
She told the children that despite the terrorist attack of 9/11, America still thrives.
