Two historical buildings are now no more.
Demolotion crews hired by BGMU destroyed the buildings on Thursday.
Former owner Joe Marshall played in the Quonset with his band years ago... and he says through his help, the Quonset became the first place in Bowling Green where African American musicians were allowed to play.
Marshall says he feels the destruction is a loss for the community.
He also says today's demolition was kept a secret until the last minute.
The Quonset Hut was on Kentucky's most endangered historical building list.
We tried to contact a spokesperson from BGMU today, but so far have been unsuccessful in getting a comment.
