GLASGOW, Ky. (AP) -- Tuesday Circuit Judge Phil Patton sentenced the former Eastern Livestock executives: 58-year-old Steve McDonald, 43-year-old Darren Brangers, and 48-year-old Grant Gibson.
McDonald, the former CEO, received a 10-year prison term but will not have to start serving it until federal charges against him are resolved. Brangers and Gibson received five-year sentences that are probated pending full restitution to the victims.
The Kentucky attorney general's office says Eastern's founder, 71-year-old Tommy Gibson, is scheduled for sentencing June 26. He also has federal charges pending against him.
The men were charged with engaging in organized crime and 172 counts of theft by deception by complicity.
