4-Way Stop Being Added to Elrod Road

A new stop sign is going up at a popular Elrod Road intersection early Tuesday morning.

A four-way stop sign will be installed on Elrod Road at its intersection with Herman and Bellehaven Avenues.

Motorists are advised to be aware of the new stop.

The sheriff's department is expected to step up patrols in the area and may issue citations for failure to stop.
