A teen girl who was abducted at gunpoint this morning in Shelbyville prompting Kentucky's first issuance of an AMBER Alert has been found.
State Police say 16-year-old Shaurik "Mika" Allen was taken from the Shelby Motel in Shelbyville around 6:50 a.m. ET. Police were looking for two black men in their late '20's to early '30's possibly driving a late-model Ford Crown Victoria, hunter green in color and with a license plate number of: 857-JCD. Media reports say at least one man was seen being carried off in handcuffs by police on the south side of Louisville just after 10am.
Now that Allen has been found, the AMBER Alert has been lifted. No word on the condition of the abducted teen-ager.
