Eakles New Todd County School Superintendent

David Eakles, one of the most honored administrators in the Warren County School System, became the superintendent of Todd County Schools Aug. 1, one day after the school board held a specially-called meeting to award him the job.

Eakles was selected from six candidates who made it to the interviews for the post. The vacancy occurred when former Todd superintendent, Charles Wilson, left earlier this summer for a similar position in northern Kentucky.

Eakles earned national honors as a distinguished principal in 1998.
