A former Russell Springs Postmaster pleads guilty to stealing prescription drugs from the mail.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Phillip Crump admitted to taking more than 45 pieces of mail.
Prosecutors say the mail contained prescription drugs, including Lortab, which he took for his own use.
He was Postmaster in Russell Springs from January 2004 to December 2005.
He's scheduled to be sentenced January 3rd in Federal Court in Bowling Green.
If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
