A new face will be making an appearance at Western's Bowling Green Community College. SimMan, a computerized patient simulator, will be used in the nursing program's real world. The project is aimed to help teach students how to handle medical emergencies.

The simulator has a heartbeat, can make facial expressions, and even has interchangeable body parts. Western is now one of three colleges in Kentucky with the simulator. He will be used in the five nursing classes and in various E.M.T. classes in the community.
