A three-year-old child is safe, after a Warren County pursuit ends.
Kentucky State Police say Donnie Phelps of Bowling Green, is charged with fleeing and evading, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, and theft by failure to make a required disposition.
KSP says Phelps was originally being sought after for the theft charges before the pursuit happened yesterday afternoon.
Police say the driver Brandy Lockhart accelerated to speeds of 70 miles per hour. Phelps bailed out of the moving car carrying a three-year-old child.
Both suspects were taken into custody shortly afterward. The child was released to a grandmother at the scene. Phelps and Lockhart are lodged in the Warren County Jail.
