The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for two western Kentucky counties after radar indicated tornados may have touched down Saturday afternoon.
Warnings were issued for Hopkins County and Muhlenberg County after radar detected winds consistent with a tornado in the area. There were no ground reports of a tornado, however.
The warnings are part of a strong line of storms expected to bring more wind and rain across the state this afternoon. A flood warning is across much of the western half of the state after overnight storms dumped several inches of rain.
