By Fida Georges |

In his sophomore year at Western Kentucky University, Adam Crafton was brave enough to open his own business. Now at 26-years-old, Bushel's and Blooms is booming.

Crafton's talents in aqua-scaping, koi ponds, waterfalls and streams have customers requesting his services as far as the west coast.

In addition to being an incredibly young entrepreneur, Crafton is giving back to his beloved community through his work. A waterfall on 31W was built so that passerbys can appreciate the drive through Franklin, Ky. Close friends and family say his charitable nature doesn't stop with the waterfall.

Although Crafton's talents have offered him opportunities with bigger companies, he said his beloved Franklin community always calls him home.

Bushels and Blooms has grown so much the business now serves Bowling Green, Ky.; Russellvile, Ky.; Scottsville, Ky.; Nashville, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; and even California.

Crafton said he constantly attends horticulture seminars to stay up to date in the business.
