Two inmates who escaped from a minimum security prison in Lexington, Ky., have been found. A third inmate who escaped with them last week is still at large today.
Thirty-two-year-old William Jewell and 25-year-old Samuel Hubley were arrested in Barren County yesterday afternoon when their vehicle was stopped. State police said they received an anonymous tip that the two were in the area.
Jewell had been serving a six-year sentence at Blackburn Correctional Complex for robbery, assault and other convictions. Hubley was serving a 13-year sentence for burglary and theft. Both men were charged with being fugitives from justice.
The third inmate, 36-year-old James York is still free. He was serving time for drug trafficking and fleeing police.
If you have any information of York’s whereabouts you’re asked to call the Kentucky State Police at (270) 782-2010.
