There are already 125 confirmed authors to attend this year's festivities.
The event will also have a few new activities including "One campus, one community, one book," which is a book discussion.
There will also be a celebration of African American writers from Kentucky in February.
Even with the new events the mission to promote reading and the love of books, remains the same.
