Margaret Grissom, President of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce since 1998, has resigned.
Chamber Board Chairman Ron Sowell announced Friday that Grissom has accepted a position with location management services and will be leaving the area. Sowell also says Grissom's expertise in the recruiting industry will be missed, but the transition should run smoothly.
Grissom's last day will be December 7th. Chamber Vice President Todd Denham will act as interim president until Grissom's replacement is chosen.
Sowell says a search committee has been named to appoint a consulting firm to aid in the search, which could take fourt to six months.
