Bowling Green's Child Advocacy Center opened in January of 2001 and hasn't slowed down since. This haven for victims of sexual abuse provides a variety of critical services to children.
Dawn Long says her parents instilled a sense of responsibility in her at an early age. She gives all the credit to her team, which consists of staff, doctors, attorneys, mental health workers and more to handle each case.
The Center is one of 14 in the state and is the only one with 24-hour access seven days a week. It serves a 10 county region.
