Matthew griffin is charged with four counts of attempted murder on a police officer, two counts of wanton endangerment, kidnapping, assault, and disarming a peace officer.

Police say griffin ran into the attic of his home on Kentucky Street, after sheriff's deputies tried to serve him a warrant.

He then punched a hole through the roof where he was met by sheriff's captain Tony Chism. Griffin took Chism's gun, and put it to Chism's head. He also fired at police from the roof, grazing Officer Robert Hansen's ankle.

Griffin remains in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $500,000 cash bond.
