Bowling Green City Commissioner Will Not Seek Re-Election

In an early announcement to his supporters, Commissioner Jim Bullington says he will not seek re-election... even though he says his public support is at the highest of his career.

Bullington says he'll turn 62 just two months after this second term, and it's time to concentrate on family and church as he approaches retirement.

Bullington does say that some of the issues he's been pursuing haven't received as much support as we would have liked, but he says that did not have an effect on his decision not to run.

And even after his term is complete, Bullington says he'll continue to serve in the coming years, where asked.
