A Bowling Green company announces a major expansion that will create new jobs for our region.
AFNI, a call center for wireless companies, will expand its operations.
It employs around 400 people and plans to add about 100 new jobs.
Starting pay is $9 an hour. Anyone who works more than 30 hours a week is considered for benefits, 401-K and tuition reimbursement.
More than 4,000 people nationwide work at AFNI call centers in Kentucky, Illinois, Alabama, Missouri and Arizona.
AFNI is now taking applications for new positions. You can apply at the call center, which is located behind Greenwood Mall, anytime or stop by during a career fair Tuesday Oct. 17, 2006, from 3-7 p.m.
