Western Kentucky Political rivals U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield and former Rep. Tom Barlow agree on some issues but disagree on others.
Both Whitfield and Barlow said they support an increase in minimum wage but disagree on universal health care.
Whitfield, the Republican incumbent said Barlow didn't sufficiently address the health care issue during his one term in Congress during the 1990's.
On the other hand, Barlow said Whitfield hadn't done enough as Chairman of the House Oversight and Investigation Subcommittee to address the cost of gasoline.
The two Congressional candidates from Kentucky's First District met for a debate last night that was broadcast throughout the state.
