Crime Stoppers: Southern Recycling Burglary

At around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, Bowling Green Police responded to a burglar alarm at Southern Recycling on Clay Street. Officers discovered a burglar, or burglars, had forced their way into the office.

Desk drawers and filing cabinets had been rummaged through, and two bank bags of cash were stolen. One of them was from American Bank And Trust. A heavy piece of iron and a pair of bolt cutters were left at the scene.
