Here at WBKO we began celebrating Halloween a little early this year for the whole family.
The second Halloween Fest was held Oct. 21, 2006, for the community from 2-7 p.m. at Preston Miller Park in Bowling Green, Ky.
The event brought in over thousands of people from the area and had a wide variety of games for everyone to enjoy.
"We played a few games and went through the football helmet," Tyler Clark said.
"It was fun. We went trick or treating and we saw Big Red," Brandon Jones said.
"One little boy asked me if I was Miss America, and one boy asked me if I was Miss Kentucky, and I had one little girl who had to have her picture made with me," said Kim Botner, who was dressed as Miss Diagnosed.
Others say they had different reasons for enjoying the event.
"It's something that's good for every age I think. There's lots of activities set up mostly for children, but it's a good day for families to get out and enjoy things that their children have interest in," said Debra Chaney, with Chaney's Dairy Barn.
The event was free and included games and of course tons of candy.
