State legislators from all over the state were in South Central Kentucky Thursday.
Various budget sub-committees met in Glasgow, Scottsville, and Franklin looking to prepare to balance this year's budget. Legislators say they wanted to meet outside of Frankfort and give constituents a chance to express their concerns.
In Scottsville the appropriations and revenue committee heard reports from the sub-committees. They also discussed a possible streamline sales tax project that is being considered in 43 other states.
