A Todd County Grand Jury indicts a high school teacher for third degree rape.

Ben Drummond was arrested in late August and charged with raping a student. Kentucky State Police say the alleged offense occurred in 2004 when the victim was younger than 16 years of age.

Since his arrest, Drummond has been suspended with pay from his duties as history teacher and boys’ soccer coach at Todd County Central High School.

He’s scheduled to be arraigned this Thursday at 2:00 PM in Todd County. Drummond will appear before Special Judge Steve Wilson from Warren Circuit Court.
