448 Grams of Cocaine Seized in Simpson County

On Tuesday night, Kentucky State Police was informed of a vehicle traveling southbound on I-65.

A search of the vehicle yielded 448 grams of cocaine which has an estimated street value of $49,280.

The investigation led to the arrest of Ronnie L. Brown (49) of Holly Springs, MS; Billy J. McThune (42) of Oxford, MS; and Michael A. Rutherford (49) of Yonkers, NY.

Brown is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, and Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Cocaine).

McThune and Rutherford are charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Cocaine).

All three subjects are in the Simpson County Jail.

The investigation is still ongoing.
