Two people accused of killing a social worker were returned today to face charges in Kentucky. Henderson, Ky., police drove Renee Terrell and boyfriend Christopher Luttrell six days after they were caught by the FBI in Illinois.
Terrell and Luttrell will face murder charges. They will also face kidnapping charges for taking Terrell's 10-month-old son from the social worker.
FBI agents arrested the couple on Oct. 19, 2006, after they sought shelter in a trailer near Godfrey, Ill., about 30 miles north of St. Louis. Authorities said the two had no connection to that area. They were foiled when the car they were driving broke down and became stuck mired in mud.
The baby was found unharmed and since has been returned to his foster parents.
