A Barren County man is sentenced to 20 years after being convicted of murder.
Rene Roblero's case stemmed from a shooting in the Temple Hill, Ky., community in December 2003. Juan Blanco was shot and killed at his home.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Karen Davis prosecuted Roblero in Barren Circuit Court in January 2005. Roblero was found guilty of murder and tampering with evidence. He appealed the conviction but the Kentucky Supreme Court found no basis to grant a reversal or a new trial.
Davis said she's pleased with the ruling and the judicial system in Barren County.
