Several agencies dedicated to helping our youth will share a grant from the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Bellwood Center’s Family Support Center received a $130,000 to treat substance abusing and delinquent youth ages 13 to 18.
The international project also known as TIP, received more than $31,000 to implement a delinquency intervention program.
Warren Central High School received more than $45,000 for the GRAD program which stands for Grades Retention Attendance and Discipline.
The Family Enrichment Center received more than $43,000 for it’s Parent Education Program targeting youth ages 12 to 17.
The grant also funds the salary for Warren County’s Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Council Coordinator. The checks were presented to the agency’s yesterday.
The money is spread over fiscal years ‘06-’07 and ‘07-’08.
