The Better Business Bureau reports a new scam - an automated attempt targeting Kentucky residents late at night.

The Bureau says callers are being contacted overnight.

An automated voice says financial accounts have been compromised and to push one to continue.

Another scenario regards credit card interest rates, asking callers to press one immediately.

When the consumer hits one, the voice asks for the consumer's account numbers.

The scammers are trying to catch people off guard in the middle of the night.

The BBB believes this is another attempt to steal people's financial information, and warns the public that you could receive a call like this.
