Candidates waited anxiously late on Nov. 7, 20006, at the Warren County Courthouse to hear the results of the Bowling Green City Commission race.
Incumbents Brian "Slim" Nash and Brian Strow were re-elected for another term. Former commissioner Joe Denning regained his seat.
Denning served 14 years on the commission but lost his run in 2004.
The highest vote getter of the evening was newcomer Bruce Wilkerson who received the support of more than 5,800 voters.
Unofficial numbers show incumbent Delane Simpson losing by a mere 21 votes.
