Federal investigators will not hold a public hearing on the crash of Comair 5191.
This announcement comes from the National Transportation Safety Board today. They also said they could rule on possible causes as early as next spring.
In January the NTSB plans to release key documents including a transcript of the cockpit voice recorder and information from the flight data report.
The flight took off on August 27th and crashed shortly after take-off killing 49 of the 50 people on board. An attorney for some families of crash victims says he’s disappointed there will not be a hearing.
