Victim's Name Released In Barren Co. Fatal Crash
The accident happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday, approximately eight miles south of Glasgow.

The identity of a Tennessee man killed in a car accident in Barren county has been released.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday, approximately eight miles south of Glasgow.
The driver, 74-year-old Scott Rippy of Bethpage, Tennessee, lost control due to heavy rainfall.
His truck spun out of control, and flipped multiple times, before coming to a final rest on its top.
His passenger, 66-year-old George Carter, also of Bethpage, was taken to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment.
Rippy was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Mike Swift.
Rippy was not wearing a seatbelt, but Carter was belted at the time of the crash.
